Aubree Durden

Case Manager

Through my training and work in the mental health and substance use field, I have developed the necessary skills to support individuals facing a wide range of challenges and am strongly committed to helping others. What drives my passion for this work is not only my desire to help others but also my own life experiences. Having faced difficult times myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to navigate mental health concerns, life stressors, and personal obstacles. These experiences have given me a deeper sense of empathy and allow me to connect with clients from a place of genuine understanding, compassion, and nonjudgment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, engaging in self-care activities, and continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I value maintaining balance and prioritizing wellness, as these practices help me remain present and effective in my role. My personal experiences have taught me the importance of resilience, support, and hope, which I strive to share with those I serve. By combining professional knowledge with lived experience, I am able to provide support from an understanding perspective and help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their journey.

Jonathan Jarrell

Primary Therapist

My name is Jonathan Jarrell, MS, CAC-II, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their recovery journeys and build meaningful, fulfilling lives. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University and my Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Addictive Behaviors from Purdue University. I am also a Level II Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC-II), dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Human and Organizational Psychology, where I am expanding my knowledge of human behavior, organizational systems, and personal growth. Originally from Louisiana, I have called the Atlanta area home since the spring of 2021 and am proud to serve the community through my work in behavioral health. My passion for this field is deeply personal. Earlier in my life, I faced my own struggles and was fortunate to receive support from people who believed in me and helped guide me toward recovery. Those experiences inspired my commitment to helping others find hope, healing, and lasting change. I understand firsthand that recovery is possible, and I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel understood and empowered. Outside of work, my partner and I love to travel and scuba dive, and we enjoy exploring new places and cultures together. I am thrilled to be a therapist at Greater Georgia Behavioral Health and look forward to helping individuals and families achieve their goals in recovery and mental wellness.

Tracy Ricks

Primary Therapist

Driven by a profound calling to help others heal, my journey as a licensed Christian therapist is rooted in a deep sense of life’s purpose. Holding a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, I view my practice not just as a profession, but as a ministry dedicated to guiding individuals through their darkest moments. I am deeply passionate about helping clients confront and heal their inner child, dismantle present challenges, and find victory over life’s traumas. By integrating clinical expertise with a faith-based perspective, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where people can experience genuine restoration, break free from generational hurts, and step into the fullness of who they were created to be. Outside of my clinical work, my life is anchored by the things that rejuvenate my own spirit and bring me joy. Above all, I absolutely love spending time with God and nurturing my relationship with Him, which serves as the foundation for everything I do. I am equally cherished by the moments I spend with my family, creating memories and sharing laughter. To unwind and find balance, you can often find me outdoors enjoying a peaceful walk or curled up with a great book. These personal passions keep me grounded, full of gratitude, and continuously inspired to pour into the lives of others.

Briana Gaunt

Primary Therapist

Every individual possesses an innate capacity for healing, yet profound life challenges, systemic obstacles, and deep-seated wounds can often obscure that path. As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), my therapeutic philosophy centers on the belief that therapy is not merely about symptom reduction or "feeling better" in the short term. True, sustainable healing requires a deeper, compassionate journey of self-discovery. I love being a therapist because it grants me the profound privilege of watching clients not only find emotional relief, but actively reconnect with and relearn themselves. Together, we work to gently explore, understand, and soothe the inner wounds that have quietly dictated their present-day struggles. My clinical practice is built on a trauma-informed, culturally affirming, and deeply empathetic foundation. I hold extensive experience and a passionate interest in working with individuals navigating complex trauma, family-of-origin wounds, and religious trauma—helping clients safely untangle themselves from rigid or harmful belief systems to reclaim their personal autonomy. I am dedicated to providing a celebratory, safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, honoring the unique intersections of identity and societal conditioning. Additionally, my clinical background includes specialized experience helping clients manage the exhausting cycles of anxiety, navigate the intense highs and lows of personality and mood disorders, and assist couples in breaking free from maladaptive relationship dynamics to rebuild secure, loving attachments. In the therapy room, I reject the "one-size-fits-all" mentality. I view our work as a collaborative partnership, utilizing an integrative approach tailored to your unique history, nervous system, and personal goals. Whether you are seeking to mend a relationship, quiet a turbulent mind, or heal a fractured relationship with yourself, I am here to walk alongside you. My goal is to provide the warmth, clinical insight, and unshakeable safety you need to face your vulnerabilities, honor your inner child, and step into a more authentic, self-led, and fully realized life.
